Air Finland out of business
The 10-year-old airline and package tour operator has ended all operations and filed for bankruptcy.
All Air Finland flights are cancelled as of Tuesday evening, reports the Finnish News Agency STT.
In a brief statement on its website, the leisure airline expresses deep regret for the harm caused to its customers by the sudden announcement.
According to STT, there are now around 1,000 Air Finland customers abroad. The carrier flew to destinations in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
