Audi Sales Chief Resigns Over Magazine Comments
A car sales director who made derogatory comments in a magazine interview concerning the status and role of women has resigned.
Esko Kiesi, director of Audi sales at Finland's VV-Auto Group, likened women to cars in an interview given to a special issue of the women's magazine Anna.
The 59-year-old executive also expressed chauvinistic comments on the role of women at home and in business. His superiors immediately distanced themselves from his comments.
