Police raided eleven Thai massage parlours and two private homes last week which are suspected of serving as sites for prostitution. They now say that dozens of women from Thailand, Africa, Russia and Estonia were exploited. Some of these women engaged in prostitution, but paid only a couple of euros an hour, or nothing at all.

One local man and this Thai-born wife have been arrested. A number of male clients have been identified and are to be questioned by police.

Police say that some of the women were treated like slaves, forced to work 14-15 hour days, and kept in near prison-like conditions.
