Epiphany Is a Public Holiday
Epiphany on Thursday brings changes to opening hours and public transport.
STORES will be closed on Thursday and re-open Friday. ALKO LIQUOR STORES are open on Wednesday until 8 p.m. and are closed on Thursday. POST OFFICES AND BANKS are closed over the public holiday and are open for business again on Friday. ADDITIONAL LONG-DISTANCE TRAINS will be running on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. However some trains have been cancelled. For more information, see State Railways, VR, LONG-DISTANCE COACHES will operate according to Sunday timetables on Thursday.
