The Finnish Seamen’s Union has blockaded a Filipino ship at the Kokkola Harbour. According to the Union, about half of the ship's crew has not been paid for the past 13 months.

The Finnish Seamen's Union says the crew is owed up to 436,000 dollars. The ship was blockaded on Tuesday when it arrived in Kokkola harbour.

The Transport Workers’ Union and the Finnish Seamen’s Union said they will try to negotiate with the owner of the ship on Wednesday.
