Home Electronics Expensive in Finland

Prices of home electronics and household appliances in Finland are more than ten percent higher than the average for the European Union. However, Statistics Finland reports that Finnish retail prices for electronics are at the same level as that in the other Nordic Countries.
The most expensive home electronics can be found in Iceland. Finland comes in second place among EU member states, and in fourth place in all of Europe.
In prices for household appliances, Finland is in sixth place among all European countries, and in fourth place within the EU.
The cheapest home electronics are available in Montenegro, and the cheapest entertainment electronics can be found in Macedonia.
The survey, incolving 27 EU member states and 10 other European countries, was conducted by Eurostat last spring.
