Cost Of Home Loans Continues To Fall

New figures show that the average rate of interest on new home loans in September fell to 2.15%.
In September, 1.5 billion euros worth of new home loans were contracted. That was 180 million more than in August, but 200 million less than in September one year earlier.
The average interest on these new loans was 2.15%, down by 0.12% from August levels.
The total of housing debt held by all households at the end of September stood at 71 billion euros. The average interest on all these loans was 2.37%.
