Finland's GDP Continues to Drop

Finland’s gross domestic product (GDP) was down by 0.8 percent during the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
Statistics Finland reports that GDP contracted 0.4 percent compared to the previous quarter.
Meanwhile, exports fell by 11 percent from the previous quarter and by 2.2 percent year-on-year. Furthermore, imports dropped by 2.7 percent from the last quarter of 2009 compared to the first quarter of this year, and by 4.5 percent year-on-year.
