Investors took a more positive view of the ailing Finnish mobile phone giant on Wednesday, pulling the company’s stock back up to 1.5 euros.

On Monday and Tuesday Nokia's share price dropped in Helsinki, closing over 3 percent down on Tuesday at 1.44 euros. At its peak in 2000, Nokia stocks traded around 65 euros.

This year the company has issued two profit warnings and announced plans to slash its global workforce by 10,000 jobs, with nearly 4,000 to go in Finland.

Nokia is set to release its second quarter results next Thursday.
