Rail traffic back on schedule
Commuter rail traffic in southern parts of the country is back on schedule after running 5-10 minutes late early Friday. Sparks from a veteran steam locomotive caused a trackside fire damaging safety devices on Thursday.
The Finnish Transport Agency reported that most of the damage at Korso was repaired during the night, however, delays continued during the morning hours. Work is unlikely to be completed until Friday night, but more delays are not expected.
