Russian Foreign Minister visits Helsinki
Sergey Lavrov will meet Monday with his Finnish counterpart Erkki Tuomioja, as well as with President Sauli Niinistö and Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen.
The two Foreign Ministers will discuss EU-Russia relations and regional cooperation. Current issues in foreign and security policy concerning Syria and Iran are also on the agenda.
Lavrov is visiting Finland on the invitation of Erkki Tuomioja.
The Russian Foreign Minister will also hold a speech at the Annual Meeting of Finnish Heads of Mission, which is a three-day event that starts on Monday.
