The Finnish Transport Agency warns of bad road conditions along the southern coast and between Turku and Helsinki because of blowing snow and rising temperatures. Snowfall north of Oulu is also hampering morning commutes.

The wintry weather is delaying trains. Some local train services have been cancelled in the capital region, but state railways VR says long-distance trains should be running according to schedule.
