The company’s operating result stood at 113 million euros compared 117 million euros a year ago.
President and CEO Björn Rosengren expressed his satisfaction with the Q2 results.
“I am pleased with the good development within the Ship Power’s specialised vessel segments, which compensated for Power Plants’ slightly weaker second quarter order intake. Ship Power also received interesting pump, gas and environmental system orders,” noted Rosengren.
Prospects for the rest of the year remain the same: turnover is expected to increase by five percent with profitability to top around ten percent.
