Wolf sighted in a national park

The popular Isosuo National Park near Turku had an unusual visitor on Sunday evening, when a wolf was sighted there. Police recommended the public to avoid wandering around the park for the next couple of days.

The wolf was following a person who walked with a dog and a child along a path that led to the Isosuo Park, according to police. Police say the unusually behaved predator was seen sometime between 3pm and 4pm. A search for the beast on Monday produced no sightings.

This might be the same wolf that was glimpsed in Raisio, south-western Finland, on the morning of Christmas Eve.
