Nurse:
- The Minor Injuries Unit is a nurse-led unit in St Albans. There are no doctors here and we work independently, seeing, treating, diagnosing patients that come through our department. We're part of the Accident and Emergency Department, but we deal mainly with minor injuries, anything that we are worried about would have to go to the Accident and Emergency Department. There are six emergency nurse practitioners that work within this unit. We are all the same grade, we are all G grade, which is a senior sisters post so there's no hierarchical structure within the unit, we are all at the same level.
