More than half of Finland's Members of Parliament now have a seat at every level of government following Sunday's council elections on healthcare, social and emergency services. Yle political journalist Hannu Tikkala told the All Points North podcast that this convergence of power could prove tricky.
"I think it's problematic. First of all, it's a question of time and resources. If you are a minister or MP, where do you find the time to familiarise yourself with the issues they handle in the regional councils?

"There is the pandemic, but there's also the rise of dictatorship in our neighbouring country, there's the rise of populism around the world, and there's the eco-catastrophe, so there's a lot big questions we have to deal with, and that has an impact on our identities, our beliefs," Kati Juurus, DocPoint's artistic director, told APN about the festival's lineup.
