The anniversary seminar of the non-profit organisation chaired by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ahtisaari took place on Tuesday at the Finnish National Theatre.

The seminar is also the first event in the Ahtisaari Days, which are aimed at making Finnish mediation work more widely known, with a particular emphasis on the importance of education, information and communications.

The Ahtisaari Days include three parts: international experts’ gathering at the anniversary seminar, a public event and events organised at schools.
