Ghost’s “Then and now” exhibit opens Friday at the MAKE YOUR MARK gallery housed at the old Suvilahti power plant.
Since moving from trains to gallery walls, Ghost's aerosol art has attracted collectors’ attention and is now carried by auctioneer Phillips de Pury & Company.
Today Ghost’s signature comic-like style has mainstream appeal, but he still refuses to show his face on camera.
“I’m shy—I’m not running from the law. I’m not on America’s Most Wanted,” Ghost told Yle.
Asked if he had an eye on any canvas in Helsinki, Ghost was reticent. Will the city have a Ghost work of its own?
“No, and I wouldn’t tell you if there was,” he laughed.
