Fake e-mails sent to Nordea clients

Customers of the Nordic banking group have been warned to beware of new phishing e-mails. The messages are written in poor Finnish and labeled simply “Viestintä” (message).

Nordea strongly advises clients not to open the link in the fake message or to provide any data.

The bank emphasizes it never sends customers messages asking for any personal data. If a customer has given such details to the wrong party, contact should be made immediately with the bank.
