Pia Pakarinen won the beauty contest in March. She recently returned from the Miss Universe contest held in Brazil, where she failed to make the finals and was placed in sixteenth position.
Makunen said a disagreement had broken out with Pakarinen over her refusal to give press comment regarding her Brazilian competition trip as demanded by the Miss Finland organisers.
