Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti is visiting Finland this week. According to Yle sources, Monti will meet with President Sauli Niinistö and Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland.
The premier may also clarify Italy’s position on the euro crisis as well as his country’s role in combating it, according to information obtained by Yle.
Monti is coming to Finland to participate in the Trilateral Forum, a high-level but unofficial meeting. Other reported participants include Jean-Claude Trichet, ex-president of the European Central Bank.
Myllyn Paras' parent firm recalled several varieties of their pastas in mid-June, and demand continues to outweigh supply.
Topics on the meeting's agenda include the EU’s defence capabilities and increasing Europe's competitiveness.
