18 Finnair flights cancelled

Finnair cancelled 18 domestic and international flights on Saturday monring in the wake of a strike threat that was averted on Friday.

The cancellations affected around 2500 passengers. All of the cancelled flights were departures scheduled for the morning hours, including flights to European and Asian destinations.

Finnair says that air traffic will return to normal on Sunday. Cabin crews and the Aviation Union reached a negotiated contract settlement with the company on Friday.
