Rukajärvi takes slopestyle silver

Finnish snowboarder Enni Rukajärvi won a silver medal at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi on Sunday. She came second behind Jamie Anderson of the USA.

Rukajärvi’s second run put her right into the medal contest in Sochi. Her second run was almost flawless, lifting her after a first run that garnered just 73.75 points.

She got 92.50 points to take the pole position, which she retained until American Jamie Anderson displaced her by scoring 2.75 points more.

Rukajärvi, 23, has previously won the slopestyle world championship. the TTR tour and the X Games. Briton Jenny Jones took the bronze medal.
