Tampere's second big Eurojackpot win of the year came on Friday, when an online player took home a 46.5 million euro main prize for matching 5+2 numbers in the continental lottery.

In April a three-person pool in the city shared an 87 million euro win on the Eurojackpot draw. That was the largest Eurojackpot prize won by players in Finland. Friday's win was the twelfth largest win to come to Finland.

The Eurojackpot system started in 2012, with gamblers in 17 countries buying tickets for a draw that takes place each Friday.
