Amerikkalainen avantgardistinen kokoonpano The Residents tunnetaan omalaatuisesta ja arvaamattomasta taiteestaan, nyrjähtäneestä musiikistaan jossa elektroninen ilmaisu ja surrealistinen taiderock kohtaavat kokeellisen teatterin, performanssit ja multimedian.

Erikoisen tästä yli 40 vuotta toimineesta ryhmästä tekee se, että sen jäsenet ovat salanneet henkilöllisyytensä ja esiintyvät edelleen naamioituina. Ohjelma on toiveuusinta vuodelta 2013 ja sen on toimittanut Jukka Mikkola.
