39 young talented violinists from different parts of the world will begin their ordeal on Monday, Nov. 23rd, when the first round of the International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition will take place at the Helsinki Conservatory concert hall. On the list below you will find the competitors, each one's home country, and the concerto they will play, should they be among the six finalists of the competition.
