Minami Yoshida is on of the finalists in Jean Sibelius Violin Competition 2015.
Minami Yoshida: "At first my teacher at school was upset about my participating, but finally I got a permission and even some encouragement. My violin teacher was the one who suggested taking part in this competition."
In the interview right after the second round the 17-year-old violinist Minami Yoshida says she liked the Helsinki Conservatory concert hall very much. She has a hard time choosing any favorites from her program, she claims she likes all the pieces she's played.
