Marianne Furevold-Boland is producer for SKAM. Sometime ago she and her team got the task to get young girls back to pubcaster NRK. In deep interaction with the lost audience they made a show that has been a big success around Scandinavia and Europe.
SKAM´s story takes place in real time and is published through the web-specific storytelling elements, texts, images, and grabs, as well as live-action drama scenes per season. SKAM spreads on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and other social media platforms that the target group uses.
Marianne has worked as a producer, script doctor, writer, journalist and presenter at NRK for many years. Both in television and radio. She has worked primarily with kids and youth programs. Educated as an actor at LIPA, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
Media Digital Summit is an annual event to speed up digital change in media context. This year we dig deeper in user-centered design and audience perspective.
We are proud to have world class award-winning speakers who open digital change in action through their own work.
Digital Summit is powered by Yle Finnish Broadcasting Company and organized by Yle Lab. This year we have the pleasure to curate the event together with Power to the Pixel (UK).
