Musica nova Helsinki: Anna-Maria Helsing & Kyeong Ham & Ismo Eskelinen

The themes of the FRSO’s Musica nova Helsinki concert are architecture and geometrical forms. The closing concert will include a work by Xenakis and a Finnish premiere. Finland’s Maija Hynninen and Sweden’s Lisa Streich both present fleeting flashes of other realities. The new work by Finland’s Roope Mäenpää is an Yle commission for the FRSO. 

Due to COVID-19 measures audiences will not be permitted to attend concerts by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Helsinki Music Centre between November 27 and December 20. The concert will be shown on Yle Areena.
