We welcome Narek Hakhnazaryan 2/3

Cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan joins forces with musicians from the FRSO again for this Sunday chamber recital. The title Arpeggione of the Schubert sonata refers to the instrument like a guitar but played like a cello with a bow for which it was composed. The instrument is also known as a guitarre d’amour and a sentimental-guitarre, and the sonata is sensitive and intimate.

Due to COVID-19 measures audiences will not be permitted to attend concerts by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Helsinki Music Centre’s Concert Hall . The concert will be recorded on 16.5. and broadcasted on Yle Radio 1 on 18.5.
