Three 16-year-olds were remanded into custody by Helsinki District Court on Thursday after the suspected murder of another 16-year-old last Friday.

The victim was attacked last Friday in the grounds of the Koskela hospital in Helsinki, and his body was found on Monday morning.

Police suspect the three of killing the fourth boy, and have said the offence would be murder rather than manslaughter because of the exceptionally cruel nature of the crime.

The court set a deadline of 5 February 2021 for charges to be brought.
