Putin in Finland for talks with Niinistö

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Finland Friday afternoon for discussions with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö.

Putin flew into Turku just before 3:30 PM from where he travelled on to the presidential summer residence of Kultaranta, just outside of Naantali.

Talks between Putin and Niinistö began just after 4 PM, and the two are to address a press conference following their discussions.

President Putin last visited Finland in June 2013 when he was the guest of Sauli Niinistö at the presidential summer residence.
