Saturday was host to the nationwide flea market known as Cleaning Day, when anyone can set up a makeshift stand to sell their household items. The embodiment of “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’; the event encourages participants clean out their closets and  sell things they no longer use, while also encouraging the idea of buying used items instead of purchasing new ones.

A record number of participants took part in the fifth annual Cleaning Day this year, estimated at over 20,000 people throughout the country.
