The trademark sneakers will feature the Garden (Tarha) and Little Flake (Pikkusuomu) designs created by Annika Rimala and the Flea (Kirppu) pattern designed by Maija and Kristina Isola.

According to Minna Kemell-Kutvosi, Marimekko Artistic Director, the collaboration between Marimekko and Converse represents a fusion of individuality and long heritage. She noted that both companies have always followed the beat of their individual drums and that both share a joyful and simple approach to life.

Converse footwear adorned with Marimekko designs will be available globally from next February at selected Converse and Marimekko outlets as well as other specialty stores.
