Finns lack enthusiasm for purchasing Christmas presents online. According to research carried out by the credit card company Visa, 80 percent of Finns do not intend to Christmas shop through the Internet.

Of the 1000 Finns interviewed, eight percent plan on buying a few gifts through the Internet. Only 3 percent said they intend to purchase most of their gifts online.

According to the survey, buying Christmas gifts online is more popular in other Nordic countries.
