OP banks announce service interruption

The Finnish-owned OP Financial Group of retail and consumer banking and insurance services announced on Saturday that it will be updating its services overnight, an operation that may suspend ATM withdrawals and bank card payments for the bank's customers until 10 am Sunday morning.

OP banks may encounter service interruptions Sunday morning, after overnight maintenance to the system. The operation may affect OP bank card use and ATM withdrawals and cause breaks in the company’s online banking and insurance services for private customers and businesses. The company announced on Saturday that the operation could affect services from 10 pm Saturday until 10 am Sunday.
