'The Boss' returns to the Olympic Stadium

American rock legend Bruce Springsteen is to play his fifth concert in Finland this summer. The New Jersey singer-songwriter brings his E Street Band -- now without saxophonist Clarence Clemons -- to Helsinki on July 31.

The show is scheduled to be the last of a European tour that kicks off in Spain in May.

Tickets for the Helsinki gig go on sale on Wednesday, January 25.

Springsteen rocked the Olympic Stadium twice in 2003 and again in 2008. His last appearance in Finland was at Tampere's Ratina stadium in the summer of 2009.

Shows earlier in July in Bergen, Oslo and Gothenburg all sold out quickly.

Springsteen is expected to release a new album this year, reported to be an angry political disc inspired by the Occupy movement. It comes nearly four decades after his debut, Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ. This will be the first E Street Band album without his long-time sidekick Clemons, who died last year.
