Use the verbs in brackets in their correct passive forms.

This mansion house
(build) more than a hundred years ago. In those days it
(must; be) a gorgeous building. The owners have decided to have it pulled down, but if you ask me, no such thing
(should; allow) to
(do). Houses, or rather castles, like this
(should not; pull down). Instead, they
(ought to; restore) and
(show) to tourists.

Can you see that scaffolding over there? Yes, a new mansion
(build) to replace the old one, but treasures like that
(cannot; replace). Surely you agree with me that something
(should; do) long ago to save it.
