Experts Dismiss Nokia Acquisition Rumour

Experts have dismissed rumours that the U.S. network technology firm Cisco Systems might make a bid for Nokia.

Analyst Karri Rinta says that Nokia would be an unlikely acquisition for Cisco Systems. He says that the focus of the companies is too dissimilar, and that from an organizational standpoint, it would be very difficult to acquire Nokia.

A British financial paper made the claim last weekend. Nokia's Director of Communications Arja Suominen says the story was based on speculation and that the company does not comment on rumours.
